The peninsula of Pelješac is the second largest in Hrvatska and it is situated in the south of Dalmacija. Pelješac extends from Ston to the tip of Loviste. The peninsula is 65 km long and 6 km wide.

Much of the Pelješac peninsula is covered with olive groves and vineyards. Famous are the Pelješac wines of which the best known is the Dingač. Beautiful are the sandy and bebbled beaches of Prapratno, Vodice, Duba, Trstenica, Dingac, Mirice, etc. Ston is famous for oyster production. Among the most popular places of the peninsula of Pelješac are Ston, Brijest, Trpanj, Viganj and Orebić.
