Karigador – Points of interests
The name derives from the Italian word caricare (to load), because in this place there was a port for embarkation of oak logs designed for the Venetian arsenal, and later for the export of agricultural products from the surrounding area Brtonigla. It is still visible from the port the pier used for tying boats. Today is Karigador a tourist destination with apartments and holiday homes. The inhabitants are engaged in tourism and hospitality.
